Last week was a busy one for the TURBO project. First the project coordinator (DTU) hosted the 43rd Risø International Symposium on Materials Science (Topic: “Composites for wind energy: Manufacturing, operation and end-of-life”). The final morning session (THU 07-Sep-2023) was dedicated to TURBO with three presentations on different aspects of the project. Videos of these and many of the other presentations will be available online shortly. In the coming months some papers will also be published in a journal: more info soon.
This well attended and highly successful event was followed by the 12M plenary. As usual, this was a very positive meeting with lots of detailed technical discussions, as well as the opportunity to meet with colleagues face-to-face. As can be seen from the photo, DTU Wind even managed wall-to-wall sunshine for the whole week!
