In Brussels on 26-Mar-2025, the 4ZDM Cluster (now jointly led by TURBO and FLASH-COMP), in partnership with EFFRA, hosted the first Digital Manufacturing Industrial Workshop that brought together industry leaders, researchers and end-users to explore the latest innovations in digital manufacturing and zero-waste production.
TURBO was a key part of this well-attended event. The TURBO EC Project Officer, Laszlo Hetey, presented on the importance of zero defect manufacturing (ZDM) in Horizon Europe. Gregoire Lebreton, from the TURBO end user Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, explained the importance of ZDM from an industrial perspective and Nikos Pantelelis (Synthesites), gave a summary of TURBO in the context of ZDM.
